Google在Google I/O 2013正式推出了 Google Hangouts 。不過其實這不是它第一次出現，早在2011年，Google推出社群網路Google+時，Hangouts就已在其中。不過這次推出，主要是整合了Google Talk這早在2005就存在的服務。 這次會想介紹Hangouts也是因為它整合了Talk，其實我一直覺得Google Talk是套非常好用的即時通訊軟體，只是大家都不知道它的存在(？)，而主要的原因應該是沒有在地化的貼圖跟廣告吧，但這不是這次的主題。以下就簡單列出Hangouts的優缺點和一些自己的看法： 優點： 不需另外安裝app - Hangouts(原Talk)本來就是Google Mobile Service(GMS)核心的一部分，所有Android的裝置出廠就內建了(中國除外)，所以你根本不用額外再去下載什麼app。當然，在iOS也是需要的。 相容性 - 也因為Hangouts出廠就內建了，而且它是Google自己寫的，而且還是GMS中的一部分，所以根本不用怕相容性吧！？在Android這種硬體相當多樣性的世界，相容性我想是非常重要的一環。像之前Viber就不支援Android 4.0很長一段時間，還有像LINE早期版本常常因為不知名的原因有耗電問題(Google "LINE" + "耗電" 就可以看到一大堆案例)。 服務穩定度 - 我想伺服器的穩定度應該不用多做解釋吧，你常聽到人家說XXX伺服器掛掉所以訊息傳不出去還是Google伺服器掛掉？ 技術層面 - 這點就比較geek了，其實每隻Android裝置都會和Google的伺服器建立一條連線，Google的任何務服都會透過這條連線跟Android裝置傳遞資料，其實所有的即時通訊軟體，都必須在每固定的時間跟伺服器打個招呼說自己還在線上，這樣有新的訊息，才可以及時收到。而其中又有不少的軟體都是自己在額外維護一條連線，這樣其實造成額外的資源花費了，而且還不論你的error handling and retry等等機制。 多重登入及跨平台 - Hangouts不僅在Android上可以使用iOS上也有app可以安裝，而且PC/MAC也都有網頁版或是程式可以安裝來使用。可以同時登入在多個裝置，而

from kjackal@Instagram 中華民國 APR 14. 2013 出境 這是我人生第一次離開台灣出國走走，而目的地是 - 東京 。 雖然我心中還有比東京更想去的地方：北海道、大阪。但對於一個第一次出國的自助旅遊者，俊岳建議東京是個不錯的起點。 有人說我很勇於挑戰，第一次出國就自助，其實當初也沒有想太多，決定了就出發。機票、飯店定好後就開始排行程。 就帶跟有點不安、緊張和期待上了飛機。(其實我對坐飛機有種莫名的緊張 XD) 三個小時後，日本！我終於踏上了日本的土地，這種感覺有點像當初退伍的時候，盼了很久盼到了這一天，但這一天來的時候，確又這麼的不真實，好像作夢一般… 一開始還沒有什麼感覺，直接出了機場，上了巴士，道路靠左，車子右駕，講的不是中文，才真的覺得自己來到了另一個國家。 這次主要的交通工具是電車/地鐵，所以俊岳也建議我們第一天可以先熟悉日本的交通。而我們的心得就是…根本不用熟悉，完全就跟搭捷運沒什麼兩樣！只是日本的路線更複雜，而且是複雜很多很多。但有「 乘換案內 」在手，完全不用擔心！，而車票部分，日本也有類似我們捷遊卡的Suica西瓜卡，JR/都営地下鉄/東京メトロ/東京モノレール/巴士…等等通通可以用，連販賣機跟超商也都可以，真的是必備品。 中間的遊記就不贅述了，請參考Facebook/G+ Day1 , Day2 , Day3 , Day4 and Day5 而我們在神奇的最後一天，所有沒達成的(代買)任務都在這一天完成了。連佳瑤在台場之後就沒有看到的神奇鞋墊都找到了，唯一的殘念，大概只剩明治神宮的鯉魚旗了吧，哈(苦笑)。 這五天的日本行，我想要了解一個城市是不夠的，東京還有很多景地都沒有去到，而有去到的地方有些也只能走馬看花，我想這是下次排行程需要改進的地方，不然真的又趕又沒有好好的品嘗當地的人文風情。 雖然短短五天，也只能看得到一個城市的表面，但就算是只有表像，日本真的有很多地方值得我們學習的地方，其中一天，我在他們某一家店裡的牆上看到了四個字「凡事徹底」，我想這就是他們這麼 龜毛 凡事講究的精神吧！連買完東西的袋子，店員都會橋好好，方便我提才拿給我，很多小地方真的很貼心。 最後送上一張從六本木ヒルズ森タワー拍的東京夜景做為Ending吧… 東京夜景@六本木ヒル
